3Y0E - Update
Petrus has been in touch with Pilot Station ZS6DXB. I pass this info on their behalf.
There is a problem on the Island! Nico one of the team members has been bitten by a 700Kg Elephant seal and Petrus being the medic is looking after him. Petrus does not think that Nico will be working for the rest of their stay on the Island. I don’t know how critical the injury is and hope that we get another update soon. Petrus is however going to write about this in his next letter, and this development can change his operating times! We will just have to watch what is going to happen over the next couple of days…
Some better news is that Petrus has sent a logbook update, which will be uploaded later today. Check the Online Logbook for update messages.

Try to do more operating above 14.225MHz when the band is open to the U.S. East Coast. There are thousands of General Class hams who want to work 3Y0E but can’t go below this frequency.
